Early Jaguar series 1 E-type – 1963

This car came to us for a new interior, electrical and mechanical work.

As an early example it had the very first version of the interior which is more spartan than the slightly later models. The car‘s seats were in extremely poor condition and needed extensive fabrication to both metal and wooden parts before our trimmer hand made the seat covers. On many of these early vehicles the available interior kits need a lot of work to make them fit correctly, and this car was no exception meaning that we had to make many trim panels ourselves to ensure a perfect result.

The engine received a full service, the suspension was up-graded and the wiring harness was inspected and repaired.
